Quote for the day:
“Spiderpig! Spiderpig! Does whatever a spiderpig does…”

I know I said I would be updating last weekend, but something dreadful happened to my laptop last Friday. Basically, my sister killed it. [Actually, I don't know if she did anything to it, but she was the last person who used it so I'm blaming her - bwa ha ha.] It was going all blue-screen-of-death on me, so now it’s at the laptop doctor, [hopefully] getting better. Oh, my poor, beat-up laptop… how I miss you.
So it looks like I survived my hellweek. Yeehaw. This post will basically just update you all on what the heck is going on in my life right now. [READ: BORING POST AHEAD.]
Right now I’m using my dad’s laptop. It’s kind of hard for me to borrow this because he’s really paranoid about downloading stuff, so I can never ever do anything online. Which sucks.
Erm. I got ugly shoes! Hahaha. Yeah, I finally got my own Crocs. Obnoxious pink mary-janes. They’re really comfy, but still really fugly. I love them to bits.
I was supposed to get my hair trimmed awhile ago but they were fully booked, so I made a reservation for tomorrow… bleh bleh bleh.
My classes are okay. My accounting exam didn’t go as well as planned – my wonderful professor decided to make the exam revolve mostly around definitions, when I concentrated on actual accounting, so you can just imagine my frustration when I saw the exam. My results were okay, but I wanted to score higher. *sigh*
I’m reading Not Quite the Diplomat by Christopher Patten, which is a little memoir/look-see around the world of international politics. I’m not really into that kind of thing [read: politics], but that’s probably due to my lack of exposure to the wonderful world of public affairs. Anyway, the book is a fun read – Chris Patten is a funny guy, and doesn’t hold back much when it comes to writing his opinions. Let me quote:
On Tony Blair: Mr Blair, a usually likeable man, has convictions to which he holds strongly – while he holds them.
Er. Yeah. Anyway, here’s something else. My confidence in the human race is not all lost! I misplaced my wallet in my college two weeks ago, but I got it back the week afterwards at the lost-and-found. So yes, that was nice.
Watched the Simpsons Movie yesterday. It’s better on TV, but it still had its funny moments. The Spiderpig theme’s stuck in my head. Oh yes.
I’ve been distributing the Harry Potter ebook to my friends on chat and on my multiply account [aharrr pirate], but I still haven’t read it. Hahaha. I’m not in any rush, anyway. You can say that I lost interest a long time ago. And yeah, I also read spoilers by accident, so that kind of killed it for me.
Okay that’s it for me. Thank you for reading this not-so-very-entertaining post.

Halu. I don’t know if it’s right for me to post here just to tell you “Hey, I’m in UP journ too!”. But I think I already did that.XD
Anyways, nice blog. And grats for surviving hellweek. Third year journ = 42 units of hell.XD goodluck

I killed my dad’s laptop because I went on a download spree and he was crushed. Hahaha now I’m absolutely paranoid in touching his laptop. I’ll stick with my 1980’s laptop for now.
Me no likey Crocs, but I agree with mary jane ones are pretty spiffy.
Ah, isa po akong journ senior, isang sa mga thunders hehe.
Dehin po ba journ si DQ? Kasi si Ma’am tessa yung thesis adviser ko ahaha. Isa lang yata ang advisee nya so you can ask her about me (waw, mag-plug daw ng sarili)
ontopic: laptop is a must for thesis people.. at least in my case. the house is the last place to do a thesis XD
Congrats on surviving hell week! The Spider-pig theme’s been stuck in my head for DAYS, and to think I haven’t watched the movie yet.
I’m not much of a fan of Mary Janes. Dunno. Oh, and I’ve already read Harry Potter (BEA=die-hard HP fan). Lol.
hope you get your laptop back…
its nice to know there are still people who return things they’ve found… ;p
