…Then he was gone

Quote for the day:
“Past-future tense!”
– Ayi L. giving me a grammar lesson… ack, mahabang kwento. Basta, I found it funny.
I saw my crush from way way back in high school awhile ago.
I was in the faculty center, on my way to a group meeting, when someone called my name. I spun around, and there he was, in his full glory, about to go down the stairs. When I saw him, I had to take a few steps back and steady myself, because my knees felt like they were going to give way. No exaggeration. Our brief encounter went like this:
EX-Crush: *wide grin* “Hey, musta?”
Most swabe girl in the world: *stunned silence*…a few seconds pass in total silence, with the two characters staring each other, one smiling nervously, one just looking plain stupid.
Most swabe girl in the world: *waves*
EX-Crush: *laughs, continues down the stairs*
Most swabe girl in the world: “Oh!”
EX-Crush: *goes up the stairs again* “Yeah?”
Most swabe girl in the world: “Uh… uh… ah… wala.”
EX-Crush: *laughs* “Bye!” *goes down stairs*
Most swabe girl in the world: *walks away really fast, wiggles off the shock*
Note: EX-Crush, ha. EX.
First time I’ve seen him in almost a year, and all I could come up with was “uh… ah… uh…”. I don’t know, but whenever I run into him, I always make a total arse out of myself.
Aaand… Hours after our encounter I was still stuttering. So if you ran into me around lunchtime and it looked like I was lost [or more lost than usual] you now know why.
Hay. I take comfort in the thought that I’m prettier than his girlfriend [they've been together for a bajillion years and will probably end up marrying each other]. Bwa ha ha ha ha yes I am evil. And I hope he’s not reading this because he will probably never speak to me again.
That’s all I have to say. I don’t think I should say more about the matter.
Sorry I haven’t posted in ages. I’ve been too busy living a real life [*gags* yeah right]. Actually, I’m pretty busy with school right now but since I’m still waiting for my groupmates’ inputs, I can post. Yeehaw.
