The boys of the NYPD choir were singing Galway Bay…

…And the bells were ringing out for Christmas day.

[BGmusic: Cold December by Matt Costa]

Quote for the day:

Me: [after catching frisbee] “WOOHOO! I ROCK!”
Kuya Dwight aka Candyman: “I ran!”

– Geddit? Hehehe we’re so corny.
You have my permission to roll your eyes.
During our game of blind frisbee.

I’m sorry, everyone. I’ve lost my mojo. It’s not that I’ve ran out of things to blog about, or the words to tell you about them; I’ve just lost the drive to write. I’m kind of forcing myself to just get out here and type, as I haven’t been doing anything productive lately.

A lot of stuff has happened to me lately, and I’m going to lump them all up in one post. Anticipate a long one, people.

On My Cell Phone. And Chocolate.

I lost my cell phone last Monday. It fell out of my pocket in the jeep [I'm that bangag in the morning]. I only realized that I lost it the morning after [yes, my powers of observation are keen indeed], when I asked my dad to miscall my phone and I couldn’t hear it anywhere.

Thankfully, the person who picked up my phone was living proof that there is hope for the world, and was just waiting for me to contact her. She was also a student in UP [graduate student I think, because she had a different ID], and we met up Tuesday afternoon after class.

I bought her a big bar of chocolate, as a token of my gratitude. I have to admit that I didn’t care much for my cell phone, and that it was harder for me to part with the chocolate. When I told her that I had something for her, she was all, “No, it’s okay…” I replied with a, “but I bought this for you,” and made her take it, but deep inside… it hurt. I wanted that chocolate. :-(

On Speaking Too Soon

I had two exams and a surprise quiz on Monday, one delightful event for each class *rolls eyes*. When I handed in my papers I was all, “YEAH! I aced that! Perfect! Woohoo! *slaps self on back*, but after checking my notes, I discovered that – typical - I made some stupid mistakes. I’m sure I did well, but… but… they could have been perfect *tears*.

Got over that quickly though.

After Monday, I was on vacation mode already. No worries, no requirements, no nothing – the world was a happy melon [...?]. As usual, I spoke too soon. I totally forgot about my Journ152 project [public relations], and we have to get this article published in The Star. One group got their article published on The Inquirer. Front page. We… well, none of us in the group are journalism majors, so I think I should cut ourselves some slack. Still, we have to get published by January if we want a perfect grade for the project. Aja!

The Lantern Parade

…I missed it. Again. I’ve never ever watched the lantern parade. Oh well, schmo well. I don’t know if I should fight to watch it next year, or just go with my current trend and miss it again on my senior year. Hey, not a lot of UP graduates can say that they’ve never watched the parade… [But really, I don't think I should be proud of that. Haha.]

Nevertheless, had a lot of crazy sabaw fun. I get dangerously hyper at night. As you can probably see here.

Danced on the street, sang a little too loud, played some blind frisbee [I say blind because we couldn't see a thing, but I swear, frisbee at 10 in the evening is crrrazy FUUUN.]

On Housework

Our helper Ate Ena has officially deserted us. She couldn’t take us anymore, I guess. (T_T) Kidding. She went back home to Davao since we don’t really need the extra help in our teeny-weeny pocket-sized home anymore. Or so my parents say.

Like, it’s so unfair na kasi I have to like, make linis my own room already. And goodness, I have to make hugas the pinggan sometimes! And awhile ago, que horror, my papa he made me walis the floor!

…Okay I’ll stop that. Housework rocks.

On Christmas Shopping

I haven’t done any. And because of my wonderful budgeting skills, I have to fit everything in xxxx.xx pesos! Hahahaha. Keychains for everyone! WOOHOO!

On My Brain’s Androgyny

I took this personality quiz awhile ago, and my brain is neither male or female. It is sexless. Like an earthworm. Except it can’t reproduce on its own. :-|

…Yeah I need to get out more.

Didn’t quite get the quote of the day. :) )

Cool, you got your phone back! I can’t believe that’s actually possible, after so many times I’ve lost my stuff and NEVER getting it back. Not even once!

If I did your “monkey see monkey do” photo pose, I would’ve cracked my skull and died. I have such bad balance and coordination skills so, yeah.

Harhar, I’m sort of loaded right now (I have NO IDEA why but I haven’t ran out of money since last last week) so I bought my friends gifts. I guess fasting works. Lol.

    Oh and welcome back!
