[BGmusic: It's About Time by Lillix]

Happy New Year guys! 2008’s gonna rock! Bwahahahaaaa.
I got curly hair.
Yeeeep you read that right.
Since it only happened very recently [i.e. YESTERDAY], the most decent picture I have with my curls is this oh-so-very attractive one. [Just to explain the look on my face, I had just discovered that the Manic Street Preachers CD that I had been looking for for AGES {i.e. since June} was in a Jack Johnson case. *enter music: Handel's Hallelujah chorus*]
Anyway, how did it happen? I made the decision during one of my charmingly spontaneous moments:
This all happened while I was editing the code for my multiply layout. Yesterday.
My mom: “I’m going to the parlor. Do you want straight hair or curly?” [She's been trying to get me to curl my hair for ages.]
DQ: *not looking up from screen* “Hmmm… curly.”
Yes, I totally thought that one out.
I’m not exactly sure how I got from point A to point B, but eventually I found myself officially curled [yes, it was a very frightening exprience]. It’s just so typical of me to make that kind of commitment without thinking it through properly. I mean, curly hair is so high-maintenance. I have to actually use products on my hair now. And I just realized how incredibly feminine curls are; and just so you know [if it wasn't that obvious to you guys already], I’m more on the tomboyish side of girldom.
On the bright side, I like curls. They have character. They boing. And it’s good for the country! The Philippines needs more curly heads. Hurray for diversity! Haha. Booya.
Props to Benj for blogging the great verse from Isaiah a while back.
[EDIT] Just realized over dinner. I look like a cocker spaniel. No joke. See? I share even the same facial expression with this dog.
[/EDIT]

whoa! happy new year! *uy kulot ka na pala?* hehehe… *feeling close*
Wow, new year, new hairdo. Congrats. I haven’t had my haircut yet though I’m planning to. You inspire me. LOL.
As the bible passage says, one should leave the negative memories away and move on with our lives. Keeping those in the mind and heart may lead us to more unfortunate events. We should shed of the negativity and look at life in a brighter perspective.
If one became successful and happy in life last year, let’s think that 2008 will be a different year. The challenge is how to maintain that.
New year, new chapter in life. True.

You really did kicked off the new year with a bang not with lots of fireworks but with that new [and stunning] hairstyle! How lovely!
Actually, the rear portion of my hair is getting longer already. The sides are also long, but not as long as the back part. In short, I’m sporting an unusual mullet! Lol. But I’m going to maintain that; will be making it longer. I’m not going to have a haircut from the time being. Haha.
